PROGRAM: “With continued rapid technological developments, employee mobility, growing uncertainty regarding patent protection, and the introduction of social media and cloud computing, the need to protect one’s trade secrets and trade secret issues are growing exponentially. In addition to understanding trade secret protection, companies need to be prepared for investigations and litigation involving trade secret across the world, but especially within the United States. In this presentation, we will discuss trade secrets in relation to restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements in the United States, including recent trends in litigation and the recently enacted Defend Trade Secrets Act.”
PRESENTER: Kurt A. Kappes, Managing Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig
