Economic Perspectives on Recent Patent Damages Rulings

May 26, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$40 – $89

From the SVIPLA Website:
“John C. Jarosz and Michael J. Chapman, economists with Analysis Group, Inc., will present an overview of the types of relief that are available in patent cases, and then discuss a host of Federal Circuit decisions that have been handed down over the last 6 years that have dramatically altered the damages landscape going forward. Finally, John and Michael will present their thoughts on how recent damages law has, and perhaps should, impact claim drafting.

John and Michael are Managing Principal and Vice President, respectively, of Analysis Group, Inc., an economic, financial, and strategy consulting firm. Over the years, they have been involved in hundreds of patent damages litigations, often providing expert damages testimony, and are frequent authors and speakers on the topic. John holds a B.A. (Creighton University), an M.A. in Economics (Washington University), and a J.D. (University of Wisconsin). Michael holds a B.A. (University of Wisconsin), a Ph.D. in Economics (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and a J.D. (University of Michigan).”
