Leveraging Automation to Improve Patent Management Efficiency
April 26, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The presentation will focus on how automation software can streamline the patent management process through various stages with the client and patent office, dramatically improving the productivity and accuracy of the process. Jeff Cashen, AppColl, Inc., will present examples of how time consuming routines in managing IP portfolios can be transformed into automated processes, enabling collaboration, prompt decision-making, accurate reporting and transparency.
Jeff Cashen, co-founder and COO, AppColl, Inc.
As COO of AppColl, Jeff serves as the first point of contact for customers and leads the sales, marketing and finance functions for the company. Jeff has more than 25 years experience in sales and executive management. Beyond 16 years at Texas Instruments managing some of TI’s largest customers, Jeff has managed product and sales organizations at both mid-sized public and small venture-backed companies.
AppColl was founded in 2009, by Silicon Valley technology entrepreneurs to make the intellectual property management process much more effective. As engineers in high technology, our founders were frustrated by how time-consuming, complicated and expensive the invention and patent process was. Because AppColl was created to address these issues, the product line streamlines and simplifies the patent process, helping customers create and file better patents more cost effectively. Hundreds of law firms, start-ups and Fortune 500 companies rely on AppColl solutions because they are affordable, simple to use, easy to implement, and highly configurable to integrate with an organization’s existing workflow and processes.
