“The Blurred Lines between Theft and Homage”

September 15, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

$20

“Using court documents and dozens of audio examples, this presentation will provide a detailed discussion of the expert musicology testimony and the jury instructions in the recent “Blurred Lines” music copyright case. It will also situate the case in the context of other well-known music infringement cases and unchallenged examples of musical homage and allusion past and present.
