Jim Nieters, Director of Human Interface Design at Yahoo! has agreed to speak to the IP Society on July 7th about his innovation-leadership techniques. The event notice will go out on Monday June 28th. This is most righteous. Been talking to Jim for months about bringing his CHI and Yahoo! workshops to the IP Society, and he finally got a break in his travel schedule. (This is short notice, but I'll take the opportunity with gusto.) We plan to follow-up with a full day workshop later this summer. Will keep you informed.

I spent the day at an unconference on the topic of what happens to your digital property and rights when you move on to the Big Cloud. (http://digitaldeath.eventbrite.com/)

The unconference announcement listed the following questions:

* Death is a part of life but what does death of the physical self mean for the digital self?
* What does it mean for loved ones of the departed?
* What does it mean for professionals in end of life care and post mortem services?
* What does it mean for online tool and service providers?
